What do you think this question might be..how much does this cost? Is it dangerous? How long will you be there? Can you speak Russian? No, it’s… “Who’s going with you?” And the answer is, no one. Just me, myself, and I.
Why? For a number of reasons. First is the expense. Airfare, hotel and meals for someone over a period of days to weeks, depending on their length of stay, is costly in Russia. Secondly, I already have so many with me. My friends who have walked this road before me – Amy, Phoebe, Tammy, Brooke – thank you for your vision in leading the way. I also have sisters to follow – Vicki, Sheli, Jane, and Kristi – I hope to serve you well in preparation for your own road to a cure. (As you may have noticed by now, Multiple Sclerosis is primarily a woman’s disease.)
I have many others who will walk this road with me. Precious friends, family, special people I have never met, and my Lord by my side every step of the way. This is my journey, a choice I made. But I will never be alone, not in spirit. Because I will carry each of you in my heart every day.
